Douglas Ruffin saw the need for an entertainment solution for event planners, wedding planners and studio executives. GiGCREATOR, LLC offers a database of working entertainment professionals.

Ruffin has extensive fundraising and sponsorship sales experience. He has raised funds for a variety of organizations, including NAMIC’s 25^th Anniversary at the event Basketball Hall of Fame and developed a Tsunami and world relief fundraiser on December 29 ‘2005 at the Dockside restaurant in Malden Massachusetts.

A native of Massachusetts, Ruffin served as the Treasurer of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).  He is a founding member of the Creative Economy of the North Shore, an organization founded to support small creative services businesses by offering stronger networking opportunities.

Ruffin earned his Certificate in Mass Media from the Northeast Broadcasting School where he studied advertising sales, marketing, radio, television production and broadcast writing.

Ruffin earned his Certificate in Entrepreneurial Training Program in 2004 from Neighborhood Business Builders.  He currently resides in Peabody with his wife Linda.
