GiGCREATOR, LLC

Jessica Marrocco is the Marketing and Communications Director for GiGCREATOR, LLC. She has the keen talent of providing distinct verbiage with clarity, simplifying web site navigation, and instilling visual continuity to all marketing materials. Her experience is a balanced combination of professionalism, creativity and unlimited possibilities.

In 1998, Jessica attended Mt. Ida College and majored in Communications. This is when she discovered her love for media and took audio, video and journalism courses. While at college, Jessica became the promotions assistant for student activities and introduced numerous local entertainers to the students on campus. She also videotaped numerous hours of student life that evolved into Mt. Ida’s first video yearbook and worked on the print yearbook as well. With her success in student activities, Jessica was asked to manage the school radio station, WIDA.

Jessica graduated from Emerson College in 2002, with a BA in Visual Media Arts. During her studies, she learned, public speaking, audio techniques of editing and splicing, Video, Film Theory and experimental modes of Cinematography.

In 2002, Jessica began working for One Family Inc., an effort to end family homelessness in Massachusetts, as a Communications/Development Coordinator and staff photographer. She was also helped raise thousands of dollars for the One Family Scholars program through public speaking at local churches, temples and Universities. Jessica was a guest speaker at the Old South Church during the Democratic National Convention in Boston 2004.

During the same time, Jessica also donated her time to local cable TV as a videographer for community events in Hull, MA. Some of the key events included, “Situate Days”, featured live performances from memorable bands from the past and the “Wind & Waves” cruise to Hull Wind Turbine for delegates and other CERC sponsored events during the 2004 DNC. Other events include video interviews during the “Day of Mourning” established by UAINE in Plymouth, MA, which lead to her part-time involvement of the “Lakota Kidz” organization.

“I always felt that if we all contribute a little bit of our time to the local/global community we can have a positive affect on others and increase our own happiness. It’s a privilege to work with Doug Ruffin as he shares the same view by having a heart-felt interest in the victims of Virginia Tech, Hurricane Katrina, and others.”
