Perryn L. Oglesby is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fine Wine Entertainment®, "Your Cutting Edge Entertainment Company." He has been recognized for his hands on approach that creates a stable atmosphere for all clients. Having a management style that works outside of the box, he continues to change the traditional approaches in the entertainment industry. Combining the best of multiple worlds around entertainment personalities, Fine Wine Entertainment is carving its own place among industry elites. Being an innovator and having strong personal communication skills, Perryn Oglesby was one of the first to envision the potential of combining corporate 500 company philosophies with innovative entertainment strategies. With an amazing team spread all over the United States and Canada, Fine Wine Entertainment has created a formidable foothold in the entertainment industry.

Prior to launching Fine Wine Entertainment, Oglesby was active in a variety of roles in executive management. As a Communication Company Manager, FOX Account and Promotion Executive, ABC Writer/Producer, Video Director, Music Producer, Marketing and Promotions Manager and Coach, he approaches things from a different angle. In 1989, Oglesby outlasted the harsh rejections of the TV industry and landed at WAGA TV, the CBS affiliate in Atlanta, GA. WAGA TV has sense been bought out by FOX and CBS reopened as WGCL. Joining the promotion team in a part-time associate role at CBS, he gained knowledge from some of the best and brightest in the business. Within a short period of time his work load moved up from the writing and producing News Briefs, PSA’s, Press Releases and Local Promotions to CBS Special Reports. Working with renowned broadcasters like Ken Cook, Brenda Wood, Amanda Davis, Paul Ausman, Bill Hartman, and others, he impressed his boss, Promotions Director, Ms. Lee Armstrong. After three(3)months of a grueling schedule working two(2) jobs from 5:00am to 9:30pm, seven(7) days a week with every other Sunday off from his second job, Ms. Armstrong recommended him for a full time position at FOX. A few years later, Oglesby moved on to ABC as a Writer/Producer and worked on projects like the Good Morning America Nation Wide Tour. Producing commercials with respected TV Journalist & Personalities like Charlie Gibson, Joan Lunden and Spencer Christian showed that his talents and abilities were respected. Working with the Good Morning America team for the Biltmore Estate Good Morning America show in the beautiful city of Asheville, North Carolina gave new meaning to his career. Other projects included the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, Movies, Radio and TV Voice Work, etc. The rest of the story has been an adventurous ride. For more than 35 years, Perryn has been active in sports, entertainment, media, history, culture, and community organizations. As an athlete, coach, manager, writer, producer, director, performer, and one who appreciates diverse cultures, his background was shaped with a unique perspective.

Beginning at age 2 as a military dependant, he traveled abroad and lived in Germany for 8 years. During his upbringing on a United States military base in Mannheim, Germany, Oglesby traveled all over Europe. Oglesby credits his stays and travels abroad for his continued success and dealings overseas.

A graduate of Western Carolina University, it was obvious that Perryn was destined to do great things. Playing Quarterback on the WCU Football Team, Sports Editor and Advertising Sales Director of the Western Carolinian(the school news paper), you could easily find him all over campus. Having very little time for anything else you would think that he would have taken time to chill, but that was far from the case. Oglesby also hosted a Radio Show called the “Quiet Storm” that featured slow songs by music greats past and present. With his true personality shining through hosting love songs on the air, it’s quite evident why his fraternity brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi gave him the name of "Casanova".  

Perryn Oglesby has been viewed by peers and contemporaries alike as a strong negotiator and leader. Many have described him as “a beast” when it comes to getting things done. His dedication and hard work is a tribute to his strong family background. Because of his Mother, Father, Brothers and Sisters,  Perryn's knowledge and radiant personality was developed from his positive surroundings. Fine Wine Entertainment continues to provide that positive family atmosphere to each of our clients.
