Movie Premiered at the Seventh Annual
2008 Tribeca Film Festival

The Seventh Annual 2008 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF08) New York Premiere documentary film 90 MILES (90 Millas El Documental), directed by Emilio Estefan was held at Borough of Manhattan Community College/Tribeca Performing Arts Center, New York, Thursday, May 1, 6:00 pm. The Conversations In Cinema panel discussion immediately followed moderated by ABC Emmy award-winner Primetime co-anchor John Quiñones, panelists included director Emilio Estefan, singer/songwriter Gloria Estefan, performing artist Jose Feliciano, music composer Johnny Pacheco, percussionist Candido Camero, trumpeter Alfredo “Chocolate” Armenteros, and Cuban Tres guitarist Nelson Gonzalez.
90 MILES, THE DOCUMENTARY (90 Millas El Documental) is an exhilarating and passionate musical documentary based on the making of the Grammy award Spanish album 90 Miles (the distance between Florida and Cuba). The historical film depicts Cuban music and culture in the United States, featuring legendary Spanish musician Alfredo “Chocolate” Armenteros, Nelson Gonzalez, Gloria Estefan, Sheila E, Jose Feliciano, Johnny Pacheco, Carlos Santana, and many others.
